    windows basic theme


    is it possible to change the windows7 basic theme colour to black borders on window edges and taskbar

    if so, please explain

    of course it's possible, but it requires a whole lot of hacking and custom graphics. basically you need to create an entire .msstyles file to replace the current one. someone will do it eventually, just wait for it :)

    Yeah, i knew that, but it isnt build-in, in 7

    Black basic theme


    Someone has already changed the aero.msstyles file to provide a Black basic theme.

    It works on my 7100 build even though it was designed for 7068.
    But don't take the risk: back up your whole Windows/Resources/themes/aero folder.

    It only changes the taskbar and start menu, sadly. I haven't found anything to change the window edges.
