    Theme problems

Before today I have installed many themes on to my computer, but after trying to change today I was set back to the automatic Windows 7 theme. Every theme I try has reverted me back to this. I've tried restoring all my patched files and re-patching, I've restarted multiple times, looked for possible causes in regedit, stopped and restarted the themes service and deleted every theme and redownloaded, nothing is working. Please help :)

you should probably give this a shot.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
with a large number of custom themes having been installed it's entirely possible a system file has gone fruity.

    perform following:
    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use SIW or Speccy or System Info

Add the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
    “system manufacturer” block, for example,
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button

By re-patching I mean I started Universal Theme Patcher again and used it to patch the files to allow custom themes.

And the "Universal Theme Patcher" is the source of your problem!

I very strongly recommend that if you want to customize themes that you read the tutorials present in this forum on theme customization. There are several.
