Problems with Hmm7 and "invalid floating point operation"

    Hi there,

I use Hmm7 which is a great theme for Windows 7 imho, clean and simple yet elegant. Unfortunately, some applications like PicPick report an "invalid floating point operation" error when using them, but only with this theme (I confirmed that it's due to the theme using a VM running Win7x64 Pro and the theme). Unfortunately, I'm not a coder, so I don't know what could be causing this behavior but maybe someone here can?

    TIA

I downloaded and installed both the theme and the program and got the same error, I made a whole new theme folder and use just the .msstyles from Hmm7 and it still did it between the images and properties there could be 1000 changes or more so it would be very hard to track down what is causing this. If you are curious here is a differential text showing the differences between that theme and the default aero theme.

Thanks for doing that work and confirming it's not just my imagination. I'm still confused though as to what causes those "invalid floating point operation" errors in the first place. I had this with another application after Paint Shop Pro 8 forced the system to switch to the basic color theme for a while and the title bar of that application disappeared with the "invalid floating point operation" error. So it might be something with the way the titlebar is created...

How did you make that comparison btw? Opening the file shows only a mix of illegible characters...

The differential tool used comes with Windows Style Builder which is used for theme making most people with out it will not understand what the differences are I just wanted to show you that there was quite a few things that have been changed and that list did not include the images.
I did some googling on that error and never did find a real answer.
