Windows 7 - Solution found to IconPackager and Stardock MyColors icon problem

Thanks to a person called boohbah I have found the solution to a problem that has been bugging me for years, and I thought I ought to share it. This problem is when you apply a theme/icon theme to your desktop using IconPanckager or Stardock MyColors, and when you change it back to default, boom. Your icons are still different. You think 'What the?'

But boohbah has found a solution to change it back.

You need to run a SFC/Scannow in your computer, you can find out how to do this here: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Leave this to scan and repair files, this can take up to 45 minutes, but I quarantee it will work. Links to examples of damaged icons are in the link section.
