Guys thanks ever so much for your help and assistance. I've figured out what I was doing wrong. It was the alpha channel in Photoshop. But its working now so thanks lads.

Plz help me, im a noob in start button making and my rebel alliance bmp shows black behind it when in use, is there a way to make the background transparent? ive tried transparent and black backgrounds but no luck.

hey guys,im having a problem when i try to change my start orb,i kep getting an error,ive changed my start orbs already a couple of times,but now im starting to get this error >>>>

what format is ur image in? sounds like ur trying to use a jpeg when it should be a bitmap
