There are some real nice themes coming out. Its nice to see that we dont have the mess about patching things like back in the day. Keep up the good work, i have most of them installed and cant choose which one to have there all good.

I love the themes, especially the ones with the custom icons.
Mr. Grim, I got the Vista and Custom icon packs, but the Windows 7 ones don't seem to want to download. (Never mind. I turned off Friendly HTTP errors to try again to get exact error, and it worked fine.)
Anyway, my problem is it seems one of the themes has broken my Gadgets. I had 2 gadgets on the desktop before I started applying them. I looked at them all. Then I noticed my gadgets were gone. I can't even get the applet to show up anymore.
Anyone have any clues? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 CPU Pentium D 2.66 Motherboard Asus P5ND2-SLi Memory 4 gigs DDR2 Graphics Card BFG nVidia 8600 GT OC Sound Card nForce 4 (realtek) Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 204B Screen Resolution 1600x1200 Keyboard MS Natural Mouse MS Sidewinder PSU BFG 600 watt Cooling fan Hard Drives Western Digital Raptor 150

Hi FreakyFerret and welcome to the Forums,
Have you disabled UAC if so that will stop you having gadgets unless you apply this registry tweak.
New registry fix for enabling the Sidebar with UAC off, download reg file and right click and select merge, restart and enjoy. Downloading this file type (.reg) can potentially harm your computer. Sidebar NO UAC Reg Fix
You can try that if you want to keep UAC off and if that is not your problem then try changing the theme back to default or if that doesn't work a System Restore will do the trick.
Sorry the themes are messing things up like that, maybe there still a few bugs they haven't worked out yet. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Brew OS Windows 7 Ultimate Vista Ultimate x64 CPU Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz @ 3.8Ghz Motherboard eVGA 750i FTW Memory 2x2Gigs Patriot PC2-6400 LL Graphics Card Inno3D GeForce GTX260 216 SP Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VW222U 22" 2ms Response time Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse PSU HYTEC 600W & Thermaltake 650W Toughpower Power Exp Case Thermaltake Armor LCS (Liquid Cooling System) Cooling Liquid Cooling System Hard Drives SATA 150GB

Hey Mr. Grim.
That was it. Turned UAC back on, rebooted, and all fine with gadgets. I'll try the registry fix later and let you know.
Once again, great job on all the themes, everyone, and esp the icons, Grim. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 CPU Pentium D 2.66 Motherboard Asus P5ND2-SLi Memory 4 gigs DDR2 Graphics Card BFG nVidia 8600 GT OC Sound Card nForce 4 (realtek) Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 204B Screen Resolution 1600x1200 Keyboard MS Natural Mouse MS Sidewinder PSU BFG 600 watt Cooling fan Hard Drives Western Digital Raptor 150

Yes that works now, if you want to create a themepack with a few pics in it, the easiest way I found was to create a new folder, put all the pics in it that you want for the theme and then select one of them to use as a background and then go into personalization and go to backgrounds and tell it to select all and save, then you can add whatever other customizations you want like custom icons, sounds and colors. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Brew OS Windows 7 Ultimate Vista Ultimate x64 CPU Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz @ 3.8Ghz Motherboard eVGA 750i FTW Memory 2x2Gigs Patriot PC2-6400 LL Graphics Card Inno3D GeForce GTX260 216 SP Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VW222U 22" 2ms Response time Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse PSU HYTEC 600W & Thermaltake 650W Toughpower Power Exp Case Thermaltake Armor LCS (Liquid Cooling System) Cooling Liquid Cooling System Hard Drives SATA 150GB

Im glad it works lol, it was only quick. Thanks for the tip for the multiple wallpapers. Quite addictive this theme building. Trying to master the basics before adding icons and things like that lol
