    Windows Desktop Backgrounds

    Hello everyone,

I am using windows 7 and I would like to locate where are stored the pictures that serve as backgrounds.
I've downloaded a few themes (Australia, Germany, France etc...) and would like to arrange them so that they are on the same folder.
Now I can only have one theme showing at a time, and have to manually change them from time to time to change the landscape.
    Thank you.

    C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\DesktopBackground

    C:\Windows\Resources\DesktopBackground

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

where Username is of course your Username.

    Theme - Change or Save

Thank a lot folks, you are being very helpful.
Solve my problems. Suppose that for the Home version they are located in the similar places.

    Welcome to the forum,

What was the error you got?

We have a tutorial for changing the background in Starter,

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...7-starter.html

I like option two myself, since it adds the personalization panel to the right click context menu of the desktop.

Uninstall it and try the other one called personalization panel,

Option two in the tutorial here,
