    deleting unwanted Windows themes

Hi, I do not use the nature set, architecture set, and regional set themes that come with Windows 7 Professional and would like to delete them but get no right-click context menu when I try. I have looked in the tutorials and on the web but not found reference to deleting except for files created by the user. Is it possible to delete them please?

    Hello pawz7

They can be deleted from here C:\Windows\Resources\Themes. You will need to grant full permissions to your administrator account and take ownership of the files first though - Take Ownership Shortcut

Regional Themes can be enabled or disabled here - https://www.sevenforums.com/97446-post30.html

you will need to merge the take ownership reg key, simply download the file from here Take Ownership Shortcut then navigate to C:/windows/resources/themes right click and take ownership of the themes and delete them. just in case you ever want them, you could keep a back up.
