    I installed the windows 7 custom theme!


    i got bored and decided to do this because i wanted my computer to look alot like windows 7, so, when i finally get my copy, i can just erase it all. but I've noticed my laptop getting hotter since i did this.

    You installed a Windows 7 theme for Windows Vista? I would imagine it might be constanlty rendering the desktop...which may be a flaw in the theme...I would advise removing it and just wating for the real thing

    yeah, i did. it was slowing down my boot-up time and stuff, and it scared me, so i got rid of it.

As above,how would i go about it and what software do i need? I have photoshop and restorator but is this all i need,and if so where are the files i need to edit? I had a quick look in windows/resources/themes/aero to see if i could modify it but it didnt pick up any available files. Any help...
