Set my folder icons to default.

    Hello there,

I've recently Installed a "skin" to my computer, Look's amazing. I was just wondering, How can I change the folders back? because, I think when I try to. The Skin Pack folder Icons are set to default. I don't know what to do,

    Please help me.
    Thanks!

run sfc/scannow this will reset the folders back and other system icons that may have been changed in the theme.

you may have to re select the theme in the personalization window to have the theme show again

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Forums

1st try Icon Cache - Rebuild

If that does not work then try Option 2 SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
This will not harm any data or programs you have installed depending on how you enabled custom themes you may need to re-patch if you used the Universal Theme Patcher.

    Hello Dawn,

If you had system protection turned on, then you could do a system restore using a restore point dated before you installed the skin theme to undo it what it did.

    Hope this helps,
