win 7 basic theme not changing Hello,
I have win 7 home basic 64 bit version. When i change theme as win 7 home basic (which is easy to access theme not aero) then once it changes, but after reboot my theme becomes windows classic theme(old xp theme). No matter how many times i change it,after every reboot classic theme is shown.
There are only 6 themes that you can change in home basic, but unfortunately i have to use only one.
Pls help.
Thnx.

Welcome to Seven Forums sharmanamit0108. I'm confused as Windows Seven Home Basic does not support themes. What exactly are you changing and how? Screenshots would help most. Are you just changing the Color scheme? Theme - Change or Save
I know you can do some theming with Personalization Panel , but I have never done it myself as I don't have Basic.
Let us know how you do what you do, and we may be able to say why it doesn't stick. I have never used the Basic, but it sounds like you are doing it right. Beyond updating your graphics driver, you might try running the System File Checker. SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
