Color Scheme Changing

I have an i7-975, 12gb of ram and dual 5970s but my computer keeps changing the color scheme.




anyone found a registry hack to disable its checksum I cant find it anywhere.
watch the one good thing about windows 8 be that you can disable the notifications.

Type in services.msc in the Search bar from the Start Menu or a Run Dialogue, go to Themes, Right Click - Properties. Disable it and select OK. Then Stop the Service. Now set it back to Automatic and Start it.

Then try changing it to Windows Classic and setting it back.

Then try going to Control Panel - System - Advanced system settings - Settings (Performance) - Adjust for best performance, OK. Hit Settings (Performance) again and select Adjust for best appearance.

If the above doesn't help try an SFC Scan

You could also try restarting explorer.exe and dwm.exe.

hory crap thats alot of trial and error I been down taht road to much lately doing bug fixes lately for clients. THanks i hope someone finds it useful since I jus cant bring myself to do more trial and error atm.
