Transparent .PNG image not working as my account picture.

As the title says, I am trying to make my account picture transparent so you just see the background instead. I found an old friend on this forum via google and tried the posted suggestions and .PNG's but when I test the picture by going to log on its just a pure white square. Help would be amazing! Iv tried to Photoshop an exact size image of the square but am slightly off and figure this would be alot easier!

Thank you for your time and help!

    Try coloring the background with

    R: 255
    G: 0
    B: 255

    or

    # ff00ff

    save it as .bmp

    hope this will help :)

One last try, Get rid of User Account picture on login screen.

^ That is the thread I got the .PNG idea from, I cant find the other one in my history where I actually downloaded 2 images and tried them and neither worked. I've tried both 1% opacity and just a blank image.

@timbog - I will be sure to try that in a moment and let you know how it goes.

Thanks to everyone for the fast replys!

UPDATE: timbog- I tried doing both suggestions and when i went to the logon screen one was completely white and the other completely purple. Im not sure if its just me you guys or what!

I have tested and you cannot use a transparent image there, but if you look at Post #23 Removing Picture Frame On Startup/Login Screen
Danny has a Authui.dll file edited that removes the picture and the frame made up, you need to give yourself permission, take ownership, renamed the Authui.dll to Authui.bak.dll and put the Authui.dll that Danny made in C:\Windows\System32, look at post #6 of this thread Basic Networking Information it will show you how to give yourself permission, take ownership, rename the Authui.dll anywhere it says shell32.dll you will be using Authui.dll
If you need any help let me know.

Thank you but the real "miracle worker" is Danny for making the Authui.dll, I messaged Danny and ask him to look at this thread let's wait for his reply and see what happens.

    Hello StealthKnight15

As you discovered the Authui.dll you downloaded will remove the picture frame and the user acc picture. Unfortunately I cannot come up with a way of keeping the frame only as there is no way of using a transparent image as the picture so it kind of defeats the object of removing it if you see what I mean.
Will post back though if something comes to mind

    Regards Danny
