Min/Max/Close icon overlap problem with custom themes

I've ran into a bit of an issue when trying to use a few custom themes I picked up off DeviantArt.

I went through and patched my system with the Universal Theme Patcher, but on the majority of themes that I try out - the standard Aero icons pop up overlapping the custom buttons that are included in the msstyles file.

First image shows one of the few themes I've found that actually works fine, the second showing my problem with at least 90% of them. Going through comments for the individual themes on DeviantArt, I don't seem to see anyone else experiencing this - any ideas what's going on?

Had em in the original post but it seems Brink edited them out?

2nd is from Placebo, but I also had the same problem with SLAVE, nautikk and several more I've tried. The only one I've had work (the first image) is Caesar.

I am going to take a guess and say you have your DPI setting higher than 100% DPI Display Size Settings - Change some the theme makers did not take in account higher DPI settings when making themes. I looked at the theme you posted links to and that is the case with them.
The only way I can see correcting this is lowering your DPI setting or ask the theme maker to make the buttons work with higher DPI settings.
