    No themes available after uxtheme patch

    So what i did was patch the 3 files themeservice, themeui.dll and uxtheme.dll
    with the tool Power Tool Ultimate v.2.3 - Cracks & Serials - ..:: Moviez.to Board ::..
    as it is told to do here: SevenMaxClearLiveBlack for 7RC by ~molinarosp on deviantART
    When i wanted to change the theme after patching and rebooting, the customization window was white with no themes available.
    Obviously i did something wrong, would be great if anyone could tell me what, and even better if we could fix it.

    EDIT: restoring the files with the same tool didnt help either.

    Maybe if someone could upload the 3 original, untouched files...

    You seemingly used a dodgy tool off a warez site to patch the 3 files. Try this tool. Much simpler and cleaner, and works like a charm.

    Uxtheme patcher for Windows 7 x64

    These are the patched files for Windows 7 RTM x64. Should work fine even if you failed at patching them already, as long as you're running the RTM of 7.

    @matt0978: Wassup bro. Worked, you da man!

    @KazeNoKoe23: Thanks for this one, worked just fine. Pretty funny, tho, cause the interface of this tool and the tool i used equal 100%.

    no worries mate! sfc stands for system file checker, scannow tells it to look for and replacing non default system files. if u run into trouble again don't forget to use it, but u will have to repatch them 3 files again after running it.

    it's a bit like a 'get out of jail free' card. comes in very handy if u get in deep quagmire (if ya know wot i mean ) just remember any patching u did before u ran it, unless of course its ur patching that caused the screw up in the first place.
