Theme ruining programs! Do I need to use multiple shell32.dll?

I recently installed a theme that made me change files such as shell32.dll and explorer.dll. Unfortunately, the theme is now messing with things such as Microsoft Word (Page colour is always grey instead of white -.- ) and a calender organization software. I'll show a picture of what I mean:

Other than this, everything seems to look good, but this program doesn't have themes you can change. So basically is there a chance I can use an original shell32.dll files for example and have this organizer program use those files, while everything else uses the custom shell32.dll? Or are there any other solutions anybody can think of? Hopefully this is in the best possible section... There were several areas I could have put it.

    Thanks in advance anyways!

When you install a theme you do not have to change the shell32.dll or the explorer.exe it is just for of the looks of things.
Have you tried using the default Aero theme to see if you still have the same problem? If you switch to the default theme in your Windows look like they should that means is the theme, some dark themes will make programs like Microsoft Word hard to use.
There is no way to use the custom shell32.dll in the default one at the same time.

Thanks for the responses. Yes I had to change shell32.dll and explorer.dll and wmploc.dll I believe. I had to change them in order to allow the theme to customized other components such as windows explorer, etc. But in doing this, it messed up other things. Yes I agree with Word 2010 you can change the color of the paper, but with other programs like this organizer that has no themes whatsoever, what must be done? Absolutely nothing? That's a shame :/

Post a link to the theme you are using and I will look at it.

What does it look like when you change to the default aero theme?

The link for the theme is here: Placebo Theme

And here is a picture of the thing on a regular theme:

So it seems like it actually isn't the .dll files that are messing with it, as my explorer is messed up on this theme because I have the edited .dll files:

Now I'm even more lost on how to make the program work with the theme... I guess I would have to try to contact the developer? Or learn how to make an exception on that one program somehow. More insight would be helpful! Thanks!

I kind of thought it was just the theme the .dll change just little things like your second picture the navigation buttons in the top of the control panel.
    You have three choices.
#1 try to find a different theme (but most dark themes will probably be like that).
#2 try to contact the theme maker and see if he can make changes.
#3 Purchase Windows Style Builder Ave's Windows7 Style Builder and change it yourself, it is most likely a fill color not an image. If you do purchase it I can help you locate the fill color.

Sure, I might get it, looks like it's only $20. Then I can fully customize other things :) Do you mind explaining how to fix my issue in only that program with this Ave's Style Builder?

You cannot edit the .msstyles if it is in use switch to the default Aero theme log off and then log on and then open up Windows style builder.
You will need to navigate to the theme .msstyles to edit it. Look at screenshots below.

I do not have Microsoft Word so little be hard for me to test unless you can come up with another program(That is free or has a trial) or area that you have the same problem with and let me know.

You could try changing the color at
Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > WINDOWS: COLOR
and then use the test button and see if that get it if not let me know.
