Windows 7: Invisible Start Orb

My little cousin wanted me to make him a start orb, after he saw me making my own. Everything was good, until I finished it and tried it out. It appeared invisible! I tried other orbs, and they worked fine. Even the one i made before worked. I'm extremely confused, if someone can help and tell me the problem, that would mean a lot to me.



I use Gimp, if that helps any.

I found a solution -- I'll resurrect this thread to share...

When using Gimp to create Start Orbs and other BMP resource files for Windows 7 do the following:

1) Click "Export..."
2) Expand "Compatibility Options"
3) Check "Do not write color space information"
4) Click "Export"
