My Windows 7 is Stuck on Classic

I used to switch through Aero and Classic themes ALLOT. Now everytime I switch to the Windows 7 theme everything looks like the classic theme except the background. I've looked throught some solutions nothing worked. I typed in Aero and ran the fixing wizard and this pops up...

I went to services and restarted Desktop Window Manager but doesn't seem to work!

    Please help

Go into Services and find Desktop Windows Manager session Manager.
Right click on it and go to properties and select automatic/apply/ok. Reboot and see how things work.
Do you have a 3rd party make my computer pretty program? It will do goofy things to Services.

Hello mmvvpp123, and welcome to Seven Forums.

As a test, refresh your WEI score to see if that may help. I have noticed that if this has never been updated, then it will sometimes cause Aero to not be enabled.

I tried it and it didn't work. Not sure if this information is going to help but at the themes page it says One or More settings on this page has been disabled by the system administrator

Could you post a screenshot showing this full screen? It may help determine which setting may be responsible.

I don't see anything in the screenshot that is grayed out to make it obvious what setting it would be. If you like, you could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to hopefully undo and fix this.

Who is the administrator? You don't try installing Windows, either it installed or it didn't. Were you able to do fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64.
