    Win7 themes doesn't show picture thumbnails


    Hello guys! Newbie here...

    I'm puzzled why is that some of the themes are not showing its thumbnails pictures eventhough I did not do any tweaks or sorta like that and I had never used any custom themes. I only use the pre-installed themes on Win7 Professional 32-bit. Please I really need you help guys ;<

    Hello tech27, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Do the themes still work when you click on them?

    Did you modify those themes at their default C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder location?

    For now, you might see if downloading and merging the .reg file for the listed theme option in the tutorial below may be able to help. It will restore the default associations for .theme files.

Hi It suddenly happened..all the thumbnails, even on my desktop disappeared..I tried to check "show icons" in the folder options restart and uncheck..did not help I deleted icon cache manually and with disk cleanup..doesn't help I don't know what's happening... any help is appreciated
Hey guys, first post here. Basically I'm trying to set a slideshow as my desktop background but everytime I click the Desktop Background link in Personalization it always takes me to this: imgur: the simple image sharer And even if I go to where my background selection is, it just won't save...

I'm using K-Lite Mega Codec 5.4(the latest, supports Win7) couldn't see MKV thumbnails with this..then I used Codec Tweaker for Win7 and now i see thumbnails, but some (and most of) like this: anyway to correct this?
