Mouse Pointer win 7 Pro Hellow Seven forums,
Hope any Microsoft Win 7 Pro expert has ran across this question. I want to create my own mouse pointers. I have got the "Real World cursor editor". I have created some larger arrow mouse pointers with black and white colors. I have ran accross a fact that I was not aware off which states that Windows automaticly reduces cursors to 32 pixels square.
I have a vision problem, (causes bad typing) called macular degeneratin. I need a LOT of light or very high contrast or larger pointer arrows. Is there any way that the auto resise of pointers disabled? | My System Specs |

I check the size of the default cursor and I get 48x48.
I tried Real World cursor editor and made a test of a custom size of 48x48 and it looks larger to me(look at screenshot).
What can I help you with.

Mouse pointer Win7 Pro Thanks for your reply,
For you 48 x 48 picels when using a monitor resolution of 1600 x 1024 pixels is OK but for me with Macular Degeneration, I need large pointer and a higher degree of contrast. Using the standard pointer size is way too smal pointers. I can improved this greatley by redicing the monitor resolution to something around just above 800x600, the problem wtih that creates many information windows so big you cannot get them high enough on the monitor to get to an OK. The program called REAL WORLD CURSOR builder allows me to creat pointers up to 100 pixels in size but windows reduces them to 32 to 48 pixels which are too small at the higher resolutions. One of my solutions is to get rid of this 21" monitor but may have to if no one can tell how to remove this windows size limit for pointers. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number assemble my own OS Windows 7 Pro 64 bit CPU AMD Motherboard ASUS Memory 6GB Graphics Card ON BOARD Sound Card ON BOARD Monitor(s) Displays HP FALT SCREEN 21" PSU 500w Case NEW TO FIT Cooling WGAT CANE WUTG CASE Hard Drives ONE 1.5TB, ONE .5TB |

Have you been through the settings in the Ease of access center?
Start> In search box type ease of access> Enter
You can set up high contrast, make the mouse easier to use, turn on the Narrator, etc. What accessibility features does Windows offer?
