Desktop theme can be changed, but the change doesnt stick?
I am temporarily filling in a position until we find a new person, and the previous person had a slideshow of American landscapes that changes every 30 minutes.
I want to get back to a standard windows desktop, no slideshows. I have changed this many times, and it will stay for about 30 minutes, then it reverts back to the other stuff.
Why wont it save my changes?
I am assuming you go to Desktop Backgrounds and uncheck Shuffle and then Save Changes, then you need to click on Save As then in the next window give it a name and click on Save that should keep your settings.

i cant uncheck the shuffle option, its grayed out because i choose a standard background that only has one pic.
i am going to try going back to the original, unchecking the shuffle and saving, then retrying to change it to something else.......

it finally stuck, i didnt have to rename the slideshow file, but i did that too.
i went back to the original slideshow theme, and unchecked all the pictures that were set for it, resaved it, then went back to my standard HP theme, and it finally stuck......thanks!
