Problem installing custom themes in Home Basic

    Are you trying to use both at the same time?

    Have you tried uninstalling WinAero's Personalization Panel and then reinstall the other one and try it?

    No...I reinstalled WinAero's Personalization Panel since the Aero Patch did not worked now for me

    I'm sorry I don't think there's much else I can do for you. Unless you want to do a repair install or a clean install.

I don't know if I can discuss this on this forum, but can someone help me use any theme other than Aero, like 3rd party themes, on my Windows 7 Home Basic? I have tried using the Universal Theme Patcher and it only changes the theme to classic. I'm already using the 3rd party Personalization Panel...
Every time I switch from one of the original Aero themes into a custom theme with visual styles, it turns into a Windows Basic theme? I can back to Aero fine, but switching into the same custom theme will only show the basic theme.
