How about a link to the theme?

That would be the easiest way for us to see what you are trying to do.

That theme does not install icons you will have to do it your self, the theme maker has a link posted for the icons.

Hi,

I've recently upgraded the CPU on my PC which required a clean new install of Win 7. The data from the previous Win7 installation was stored in the "Windows.old" folder and I also copied the entire old Win7 boot drive partition to another disk .

I want to install my old theme onto the new OS, but I don't know where to locate the file that contains the old theme or even what the file extension themes use.

Any help would be most appreciated, Thanks.

See if you can find it here,

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

Themes use a .theme file extension.

I just thought I would share this. At least one of the themes I downloaded from MS (French Riviera) caused my system to not be able to create a performance report. IE: elevated command prompt --- perfmon /report When I changed themes I could get it to work.

Aero features work for Aero Themes but not for My Themes
I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional and used Double Driver to reinstall all my drivers. Everything works fine with one exception. When I switch from the default Aero Theme to one of My Themes, the Aero features no longer work (i.e. transparency, thumbnails on the taskbar, ect.) ...

Two questions: One: I have created a custom theme in Windows 7. In the "built-in" themes there is a section called that lists all the images that the theme will rotate through. My custom theme file does not have that section, but still rotates through the images I selected in the GUI. How does...

You know how you can select multiple wallpapers and have it switch or even shuffle through them? I wonder if they will make an option to either switch between themes or assign window colors to go with certain backgrounds, that would be nice. I think I'll talk to Microsoft about this :p
