    Post a screenshot with arrows pointing at the text color you would like to change.

    highlighted in red is what i want changing.

    without it effecting other areas(task manager etc)

    You can't, that text color is a main window text for many places.

    I have looked at that theme and I do not see what you are talking about.
    Post some screenshots showing what you say that theme is doing.

    this is the escl energy g laser. the red highlighted font is the same color as the green highlighted font and it does not effect the yellow highlighted task manager font color, so i was wondering how have they done it.

    The highlighted colors where you have the red and the green outlined are totally separate from the task manager, the non-highlighted text is the same color as the task manager, if you noticed the first item listed on the task manager is dark that highlight cannot be changed.
