How do I remove custom theme, and custom icons?

    Hello,

I installed a custom theme and custom icons some months ago.
I don't like it anymore, and would just like to go back to the good old windows 7.

    How do I do that?

What theme and icons did you use can you post links to them?

You should be able to right click on the desktop for and go to Personalization and change your theme.

Not knowing how you changed your icons you may want to try the below.
Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may have to do this up to three times with a reboot after each scan.

What all did you install and how did you install it.
Did you change to the default Aero theme?
    Did you do the scan?

if you used 7tsp to install the theme pack extras then run 7tsp and select the restore button.
the only themes i have used are mr grims and i only use 7tsp for the theme extras.
as jerry said running sfc scan will revert the changes made to system icons ,clock etc. the actual theme you can just switch to windows aero in the personalization window to change the theme back.
im pretty sure when you run mr grims installers there is a warning saying they cant be uninstalled.

Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Then do Icon Cache - Rebuild

If there's an uninstaller, use that otherwise follow Bongo's advice above.
