Windows 7 Switched To Basic Theme on two computers simultaneously

Ok, odd problem, not really looking for a resolution, but wondering why it happened...

I have two desktops running in the same room, and earlier, both computers switched to the basic Windows 7 theme (Aero Theme disabled) at the same exact time. After about 5 minutes or so, both computers switched back to the regular theme, with Aero being enabled again. Nothing was going on on both systems except for Firefox running. This has happened to me before, but never on two computers simultaneously.

It doesn't even happen often. I guess the last time this occurred, was many months ago. So I was a little weirded out as it happened on both computers this time instead of one.

Why did that happen? What was going on? Like I said, not looking for a way to solve it, just wondering why it happens?

Ech0es,

Use resource monitor and monitor memory usage. Did you have several tabs open? Sometimes forefox can have a memory leak. It could be plugins etc.

Yeah, several tabs were opened, but no more than 3 or 4. It doesn't even happen very often. Just thought it was odd when it happened on two different computers at the same time.
