| | Default Theme setting problem I am Using Windows 7 CR7729 Beta When ever I try for setting VLC media player as my default media player for video files, all the icons in START menu and desktop(except MyComputer and RecycleBin) got changed to VLC icon. While clicking those icons VLC mediaplayer is started or some error messages came. And I tried to Uncheck the option in Display settings -"Allow applications to change display theme". Then also the problem persists. After that I tried to open one video file using Internet Explorer, then all the icons became IE icon, and whenever I try to open any other application including IE, some error message is displayed. " .LNK file, do you want to run / cancel" the application. Atlast I reinstalled my PC. Give a solution Sujesh P Lal |
