    Can I get some help with Full Glass V2 Theme for Windows 7

    Windows 7 Themes: Full glass -> V2 <- - Page 187

    That is the theme I am referring to. Everything seems to work fine but I'm not really sure if some parts of it took or if thats how its supposed to be.

    An example: This is how most windows look

    This is the problem im referring to:

    another example (this is for a text document, not sure if it was intended to be like this or if its supposed to look glassish):

    I'm not sure if the theme is supposed to look like that or if not all my patches took? I use Universal Theme Patcher for x64 and it said the 3 .dll's were patched successfully. Restarted computer, applied theme. Is this how it supposed to be? If so, can someone point me out to another full glass theme (I been looking can't find any ) if not then any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

    edit: By the way I already tried going through all the "Advanced Appearance Settings" and changing font colors but none seem to have any effect.

    Was going to take a pictue of the universal themer but it seems the theme also affected this window.

    All 3 are patched. I did notice that the task bar didn't seem to have changed so not really sure whats going on. If I apply another theme all the problems fix themselves so I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the Shell32.dll replacement that was included in the download

    edit: I'm very new at this to sorry if this question has been asked a million times (not sure if it has been, so please take mercy on me :P)

    Welcome to Seven Forums Nemy. I have never used a glass theme myself, but have seen plenty of posts like yours on CreativX and Virtual Customs. Usually is because the suggested glass application was not used, or instructions not followed. From the original post there:

    You download and run the file "Full Glass.exe by ~phantommenace2020 "

    full glass by ~phantommenace2020 on deviantART

    and copy the folder "Full glass vs7" and "full glass vs7.theme" to "C: \ Windows \ Resources \ Themes"

    run "full glass vs7.theme"
    Did you do these steps and still getting the black application backgrounds? I'm sure Jerry (Bongo) will have personal experience when he sees this. A Guy

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    I think you have something wrong with that theme I get a gray notepad and a white clock window, but full glass themes do not make every thing glass so some of it is normal.
