Ha well that is a security update,
But when re-installing windows it's best to remove the third party card so everything is updated
Then install the card and finish up any updates for it,

You do list the ssd as a 1tb ssd
There are some format requirements for 1tb hdd's or ssd's I'm not at all sure the exact spec's for the format gpt instead of mbr :/ ?

I would blow out the case though

Some software can trigger an Aero failure.

If it happens again, try disabling your Startup programs.
If that fixes the issue, try re-eneabling them one at a time to try to isolate which program is responsible.

Welcome to Seven Forums P0nt00n. If it happens again, try running this:

Windows Aero Glass visual effects are not working or displayed
