Which version of Win7 are you running?

The theme is compatible with Windows 7 build 7068 x86 and x64 and with Windows 7 build 7077 x86 and x64, but i'm not sure if the patch'es works with build 7068

And you're sure this is a Microsoft WIndows 7 Operating System issue? How?

What has the theme author's response been?

    Hello Baarod,

From the author's comments at that webpage:

    Artist's Comments

This is my second release of Aero Hilled theme for Windows 7, but now is compatible with build 7077 x86 and x64 to.
I have made a new way to apply this theme and created some patches for every dll and exe. You dont need to copy the new files anymore and you dont need to make a backup because in the moment that you apply the patch it will create a backup file automaticaly.

    !!!IMPORTANT!!!
Before to apply the patch please use Take Control program from extras folder to take ownership of the files that you have to patch and disable the UAC.

And beacause the patch contains only the resources files that have to be replaced now is more compatible and stable with x86 and x64 to because they will not modify the other data from files that will be patched.

    !!!ATENTION!!!

The theme is compatible with Windows 7 build 7068 x86 and x64 and with Windows 7 build 7077 x86 and x64, but i'm not sure if the patch'es works with build 7068 to, but for that is the version for this build.
Ii'm not responsable if your sistem takes errors.
You install this on your own responsability.
This works with no errors on my system.

    Whats new:
    - added multishellstyle with 4 folder color (generic, documents, pictures, music/videos)
    - new start panel reworked at some requests
    - new orb with no flames effect (in org folder you will find the flame version to)
    - new taskbar (more transparency and this depends of the color that is chosed)
    - clock and date is now more visible
    - new items on the taskbar
    - topshellstyle
    - topshellstyle for games folder
    - new left panel picture
    - new welcome center picture
    - fixed some bugs

    Extras:
    - new sidebar that can be customizable with sidebar styler
    - 3D picture workings but it shows only user picture
    - stacks (thanks to Matias Moreno for this great patch)
    - logon changer
    - take control (to take control of all files that you need to patch)

    Bugs:
    - black text on detailed pane, left panel and command bar (if someone know how to make it white please help)

Thanks for you all that helped me.

    Any comments are welcomed.

    Hello Baarod,

From the author's comments at that webpage:
There's a comments section at the bottom of that page. I think there would be the best place to ask these questions. My guess is that any "skin" that requires taking ownership of everything, disabling UAC and patching "every dll and exe" isn't the safest thing in the world to mess with. Better to ask the author since h's the expert!
