Cant INSTALL THEMES!

    Cant INSTALL THEMES!


    Look...
    I download themes from deviantART put them into C:/Windows/Recourses/Themes

    But when I use them my taskbar and evetything turns into a Windows classic or somthing.

    Look like Windows 98.
    But I want my windows to look exacly like in the picture!

    Please help me!

    You have to patch your sytem to use unsigned themes if you haven't done so. You can use the Universal Theme Patcher for instance:

    patching is must dude....otherwise 3rd party themes wont work....or try to find .themepack themes which are easily applicable and does not need patching...

    I told one of my online friends to test one of my new themes for me today. He said he has got the x64 x86 windows 7 OS and I told him to test one of my Windows 7 Themes. I only create themepack files and so that should not have been a problem. But when he tried to install he said that he was not able to do so as his system was showing "cannot install themes in this version". He said he got his Windows with his laptop. So, is it that he has got starter edition for which he cannot install or does x86 version not allow themes installation from normal themepack files.
