You sure it is a standard VGA ???????? I dont anything that has come with that in a while. If you do not have the correct video driver installed it will say that but we could use more info.

If it is indeed a std vga adapter there is no way to use aero

    Let us know

Hello Ken, Thanks for your reply. I got this graphic card information from device manager, so I think it is a standard VGA.

When I try to update driver:

So, I go to personalization, and clicked on troubleshoots problem with transparency and other Aero effects.

Then it shows this, I clicked on next.

    Last, it shows like this...

I really hopes can get solutions from you, thank you very much!

The standard VGA driver is the one installed by Windows as a default if it doesn't recognise or doesn't have specific drivers for your graphics card. (I know this because it's what it tried to foist on me for my own ATI Radeon card.) If you try to update it then it will simply tell you that there isn't a new standard VGA driver which, of course, is merely the truth.

You need to identify your graphics card and install the correct driver for it before you attempt to update it. If you don't have the manufacturer's details then you'll need to get hold of some system analysis software such as Si-Soft Sandra to help you out.

It is weird that even in your spec it shows standard vga graphics adapter.

are you using laptop or desktop?
is your graphic card and integrated one or not
i believe the graphic that i know either ATI,NVDIA,or INTEL GRAPHIC MEDIA ACCCELERATOR

clarify me on those so we can provide suitable driver for your graphic card

Open the case, inspect visually... It's the easiest way to find out what GFX make/model you have.
