NEED HELP

Hello sir,
I read yr article n it is great. I followed yr guidance n made a profile.
Then i encoded a 2gb avi file of movie 'RED' with MeGUI to a 570mb file with a setting of [program --preset veryslow --pass 2 --bitrate 5500 --stats ".stats" --deblock -1:-1 --bframes 3 --b-pyramid strict --ref 4 --vbv-bufsize 14500 --vbv-maxrate 14000 --subme 9 --psy-rd 1.0:0.06 --no-fast-pskip --output "output" "input" ] by x264:AVCHD profile. but there are some hazzy appearance of the movie. how to get the best print without any hazzyness?it seems that frames are lacking. some block block appearance is there, not smooth. but the movies we download from net, they are so clear but within range of 550mb. I hope i made myself clear.
So, can you suggest me any best setting so that i can encode it within 600mb?
Thank you

I would use one or the other, whichever you prefer. But not both.

The important thing is to have FFDshow and Haali, which both should come with.

Cluster Encoding

Wow, great how to guide, way better than the one I started out with, Anyway, i was wondering if it was possible to use network clustering to encode videos using MEgui, Becaude me and my Dorm-mate own a total of 4 PS3s and he uses a Windows/Linux hybrid thing to utilise the power of their 7 core 4.2GHz Cell Broadband possessors to Crack passwords and run simulations and stuff, my point is, this is a lot of processing power, but he only uses this set up once every 2 weeks or so, and with my BD converts taking up to 13 hours to do, is it possible to shorten that drastically by using the effective 122GHz that can be harvested in this cluster, my mate said that we must try stick to Windows XP/7 32bit programs with as few drivers as possible, but anything would be fine, because then i can still use the desktops, thanks in advance, this will be a great step for humanity.

Yes, MeGUI runs under a 64bit OS perfectly fine and the x264 encoder itself is set to run as 32bit, by default.

You can also choose to chnage it it to a 64 bit app in the options.

Either mode will work just fine under a 64bit OS.
