Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create

Yea, I'm sure it would but I didn't really want to create a shortcut for it. I've had issues with HKCU run and HKLM run in the past when shortcuts were used for the run commands in the registry. Windows wants to add some GUID reference number to the associated installation file. Then at certain times on boot up, the actual program loads, the installation file gets triggered to install it again which leaves me with two running processes of the same app. I know it's weird, but it does happen with me.

It worked just fine for me to create a shortcut this way on my Desktop for the program Open VPN, without the annoying UAC popping up.

With a shortcut for another program I have some difficulties though. I created a task on exactly the same way as before, but now, when I double click the new shortcut, I get the error message "The file could not be found. Make sure this file resides in the application folder and that the Java Runtime Environment version 1.4.0 or higher has been installed!".
Of course this has something to do with this program using Java to run, but I have no clue how to solve this.

A direct shortcut works perfectly fine by the way, but then UAC pops up and that is what I want to change.

Any ideas?

I went to the folder of the program and right clicked the EXE file and used 'Create shortcut', and put it on the desktop. This one works but I still need to give UAC permission to proceed.

Then, when I create a new task and under action use 'open program' and then browse to the location of the EXE file and select it, I still get the same error message in the end. Also when I browse to the new created shortcut and select it it still gives the error. (obviously because clicking the shortcut gives the location of the original EXE file)

It's a program to search and access files from all computers within the University Network, custom made by one of the students a couple of years ago. So it's a relative old program (about 5 years) and I actually have to run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP to work without any flaws. I don't think this is the problem though, because when I don't run it in compatibility mode it still starts but just some functions don't work. So I really think it has something to do with this program using Java.

Maybe it's possible to create a shortcut using command the same way as in this tutorial: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...n-taskbar.html. But I don't know what i should use in stead of cmd /c wuapp.exe. How can I direct it to the right location on my computer?
