    Hi Shaun
Origionally an oem version but this install is done from a friends windows 7 dvd using my oem key so i didnt get the bloatware. Its a full clean install only done about 6 weeks ago.Ive never used any registry cleaners on this install so its not that.Just trying to narrow things down for you.

    Shawn,

I guess my Windows 7 install was a clean one. Back in March I had to format my laptop b/c it got a load of viruses. I used the Windows 7 disc that came w/ the laptop so that's why I "think" it was clean. However, I've got a question for you. Will this work on XP? That's what my desktop computer OS is and i was wondering if this would work on XP. I know the tutorial doesn't mention it but I'd like to test it out anyway.

Also, I'm gonna try doing this tutorial on my girlfriend's laptop. She also has Win 7 and she's gonna bring her laptop tomorrow. (She forgot it today, oh well)

    Thanks,
    Eric

I have carefully followed the intructions in the tutorial; they were clearly written and well explained, leaving little chance for error.
I know I was in my Administrator account, I took ownership and did everything else correctly.
When I was ready to change the screen, nothing happened.
I did notice, however that you and Enzo have Ultimate, you, also, have SP1
    Im using HP with 64bit.
I maintain by computer very carefully. It is problem free.

Is there any limit on the numbers of characters that can be used?

I have not tested to see how long it may be able to get to, but what they used should have worked.

I'm currently getting a VM setup in Windows Virtual PC with a 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium without SP1 to do some further testing on.

Ummm, interesting. I couldn't get it to work in 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium without SP1.

    More testing.....
