Nudinsenin,

The Statup programs list use to be availble to be changed in Windows Defender in Vista, but this option was removed in Windows 7 since Windows Defender is stricktly a malware program now in Windows 7. It would be nice for a user friendly GUI other than msconfig to change them.

Hi, I followed your way and find the startup list, however, I cannot find the program I want to start in the list, what should I do?

Thanks.

Hello Jihe, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The program will not be listed unless it is already a startup program. Depending on what it is, you may be able to use METHOD ONE to add a shortcut of the program in the Startup folder to easily have it run at startup.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Yet again you have answered my question without me having to ask ......
(My Linksys <Skype> phone was loading at startup and had no "options".
I just HATE stuff that pleases itself! Now I click it's icon when I need it!)
Thanks Brink.
