    Nudinsenin,

The Statup programs list use to be availble to be changed in Windows Defender in Vista, but this option was removed in Windows 7 since Windows Defender is stricktly a malware program now in Windows 7. It would be nice for a user friendly GUI other than msconfig to change them.

Hi, I followed your way and find the startup list, however, I cannot find the program I want to start in the list, what should I do?

    Thanks.

Hello Jihe, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The program will not be listed unless it is already a startup program. Depending on what it is, you may be able to use METHOD ONE to add a shortcut of the program in the Startup folder to easily have it run at startup. :)

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Yet again you have answered my question without me having to ask ......
(My Linksys <Skype> phone was loading at startup and had no "options".
I just HATE stuff that pleases itself! Now I click it's icon when I need it!)
    Thanks Brink.
