Hello Legacy Code,

Unfortunately, when a window is maximized to full screen it stops the active desktop or Dream from playing by default. Because of this, that is why it will only show a still image of it through the transparancy. I"m not certain that can be changed.

There are circumstances where the Reg entry will be reset back to 50. Changing themes will do it and I think changing colors will do it too. There's probably other ways too. I suppose some things that reset DWM.

Oh yeah, I think I did change themes temporarily. Probably what reset the ColorizationGlassReflectionIntensity back to 50.

This takes affect after a reboot or you could stop then restart DWM.
Thank you Streetwolf. This has been added into the tutorial to make the border even more crystal clear.

It was fully clear when I tested it, but I changed it back because I preferred it blurred, did you log off then log on again?

It works on some builds, and not others. It works on 7232 x64 that I'm using. What build are you using exactly? You might have to use the instructions posted by LFB a page back.

Smartey,

I'm not sure why it is not clear for you as well. I set my DWM settings to be the same as yours while using OPTION ONE in the tutorial, and I still get a clear border. It may be as Aaron posted above.

If you're using build 7201 Smarty, by looking at your specs there, it doesn't work in that build. Try that other method.

I tried option one first, and then option two. I'm back to using 7100

I'll try 7201 and the other methods.

EDIT:

No dice.

7201 didn't work and replacing the dwm.exe and udwm.dll caused an error with dwmredir.dll
