Windows 7: Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File

I wanted to slipstream SP1 into ALL version of 7 32-bit and then creat an AIO with all versions of 32-bit with SP1 and all versions of 7 64-bit and then add a folder of other apps.

It depends on the Windows 7 you downloaded. It may have only inlcuded that specific edition and not the others.

You can give the method in the link below a try to see if it may work for you. If not then try doing the tutorial again, but with a ISO from Digital River instead.

The 7 I DL'ed long ago had the correct hash marks as genuine from MS. It's efi file makes it Ultimate. I followed the tutorial's instructions and chose Ultimate as the type to inject SP1 into. Do I have to remove or edit the efi file to allow 7lite to allow me to choose all versions?

Step 12. F) Do either step 12G or 12H for what type of Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 you want.

12. G) instructs how to create a SINGLE edition of 7 with SP1 slipstreamed.
12. H) instructs how to make an AIO.

Nevertheless, the instructions I followed in 11. B) should have created an image which it did. However, the image is empty.

I must admit that I'm not sure what may have went wrong and why the ISO you created is empty unless some sort of mistake was made or there is an issue with you used to create it with.

I tried again with a different 7 Ultimate DVD.
At 30-something percent, I get a message that Service Pack not integrated successfully.
I had the files from the DVD and the SP1 in their own subfolders in a folder named Windows 7 slipstreaming folder on my desktop. So, I put the DVD files folder on the desktop by itself and the SP1 EXE file on the desktop by itself, not in a folder. I tried THREE more times but got the same "Service Pack not integrated successfully" message.

Note when I start the program, the sponsors page is blank and I get a message stating that a script on the page failed ... would I like to continue running scripts on this page or not. I"ve clicked to continue to run and to NOT continue to run scripts on this page but that window remains blank. I have to close it and then the program contiues to run.

I could download an image with SP1 slipstreamed into only that ONE edition but I want a disc with all flavors of 7 with SP1 in each flavor.

Yes, I've seen that but it doesn't slipstream SP1.
I've read other pages on using WAIK.
I know I could just create a disc with an altered EFI file so I'm allowed to choose which 7 version to install and include a folder with SP1 to run seperately AFTER installing 7.

I wanted to have a disc with SP1 slipstreamed into every version of 7, 32-bit with SP1 slipstreamed into each version AND every version of 7, 64-bit without SP1.

If I DL 7-Ultimate with SP1 ALREADY slipstreamed into it, can I use that to make a USB drive to install ONLY Ultimate with SP1 or any 7 with SP1?

What is the benefit of that AIO program other than it allows you to combine x86 and x64?
It otherwise seems to do the same thing that simply altering the ef.cgi file does.
What am I missing?

Hiyya Shawn a bit OT but I want to slipstream a XP with it's service packs will 7 lite do this? or I have a ref from Lifehacker to use nLite is this the same principle is what I need to know please.
Plus I does it matter what machine you do this on? even with 7 as I recently could have done this with a machine I sent to my brother in the UK using my faster main machine.

RT Seven Lite doesn't list XP as being supported. I would recommend to use nLite as well to slipstream XP.
