Just was reading about that, LOL. No problem, got it covered. I have to rebuild a machine, POS MB is giving me errors. Much better MB on the way and will have to reload Win7. Thanks for the help Brink.

You're most welcome Radman. Enjoy the new MB. :)

One issue though. OEM product keys are permanently tied to the motherboard that they were first activated on, and cannot be used to active on any other PC.

You may have to do a phone activation, wait for the activation operator, and explain your situation to see if they may activate it for you.

Not a problem, I have had to do that before.

This tutorial is simply awesome! But one thing I would like to mention is that the RTLite software has got bugs and has the potential to crash and also takes a real lot of time even on i7 for the entire process. Though I did not have any problem and the process went successful but it did crash when it was cleaning things up at the end. Then I had to manually clean the garbage from the temp folders since the app couldn't. Otherwise the app's good and the ISO it created works pretty well.

    Another confused question

I am confused on why we have this tutorial to create a slipstream DVD or USB: Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File

When a very simple automated process is from this link which seems to accomplish the same even a novice can install: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool[2]=General%20Tips

What is the difference between the two?

    Hello Sammy,

The tutorial was originally to slipstream SP1 before it was included, but this tutorial also shows you how to slipstream Windows Updates into an installation DVD or ISO as well. :)

Hey Brink, great guide friend! But one quick question, when I made the ISO and burned it to disc it's only showing me the Windows 7 Pro x64 edition but not the other versions even though I followed what your guide says. Any Idea why this is happening?
