oh hah, overlooked that.
oh hah, overlooked that.
Okay I'm also stuck at step 12G/H where it should be giving me the choice to rebuild current image or all images, but I'm not seeing that screen at all. I clicked ISO-Bootable on the left side, and picked USB, and it looked like it was formatting and copying the slipstreamed files to my USB stick. I tried booting from it on my laptop and it gave me an error about a missing CD/DVD driver.
What am I missing?
Yes I used beta 2.6.0. I was creating a bootable USB, with SP1 slipstreamed, but no updates.
I had started out by copying the files directly from a Win7 Pro (no SP) DVD to the computer on which I was running RT Seven Lite. I got down to Step 11, then figured out I could choose Integrate, then click Apply with no updates, and then I was able to see the screen shown in 12G where I chose Build Current Image, and then Commit.
I also got the dreaded CD/DVD Driver missing error when I stuck the USB drive into the laptop. But it turned out I was able to cancel out of that screen, go back to where it said Install Windows, stick the USB drive into a different USB port, and then the installation continued as normal.
Can someone update the link in post 1 to include the correct link Beta 2.6.0 (and remove the dead one). Beta file is no longer available on RT Se7en's website.
Also, if I recall correctly, one could download the full .exe file for 64 bit Win7 including SP1 from Microsoft's site but I don't see it any longer on MS's website.
Hello Sammy,
You can download the Beta 2.6.0 version in the alternate download link in the blue note box under step 1. :)
Keep getting "Service pack not integrated successfully". I have tried on 3 different machines, 2 running Win 7 and 1 running Win 8.1. Cant get the service pack to integrate. Any ideas?
