How to Add "Run as administrator" to VBS File Context Menu

This will show you how to add Run as administrator to the context menu of all VBS files in Windows 7 and Vista.

You must be logged in as an administrator to be able to do this tutorial.


EXAMPLE: "Run as administrator" Added and Removed from VBS file Context Menu

Here's How:
1. To Add "Run as administrator" to VBS File Context Menu
A) Click on the Download button below to download the file below.
Add_VBS_Run_as_administrator.reg
download
B) Go to step 3.
2. To Remove "Run as administrator" from VBS File Context Menu
NOTE: This is the default setting.
A) Click on the Download button below to download the file below.
Remove_VBS_Run_as_administrator.reg
download
3. Click on Save, and save the .reg file to the desktop.

4. Right click on the downloaded .reg file and click on Merge.

5. Click on Run, Yes (UAC-Windows7) or Continue (UAC-Vista), Yes, and OK when prompted.

6. When done, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
