Windows 7: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Hello Haramo,

Your SFC details show that it was unable to repair the settings.ini file for Microsoft-Windows-Sidebar. If you manually added "Windows Sidebar" back to Windows 7, then that would be why it can't repair the file since it's not included in Windows 7 by default.

If you are not having any issues with it, then there's nothing to worry about.

You can use the same method below, but look at the top in "System" to see if it's Vista or Windows 7 installed.

System Type - 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)

Is your neighbor's computer having any issues with Windows Sidebar?

If not, then there's nothing to worry about trying to repair.

No, no problems, it works, but the booting time is very slow. After the laptop is cleaned, it still need a lot of time to boot, load everything. I'm trying to speed up the boot a little bit.
