Import Export

I have tried, unsuccessfully, numerous times that it has given me a headache. And I am not computer illiterate. If they did import into I.E. 10 I cannot find them. They are certainly not where they should be. And that would be in I.E.'s favorites. Why does Microsoft make is so difficult to do this. Don't they want users to switch to I.E.?

No, when I save the bookmarks.html file in my desktop directory. I close Firefox and load I.E. go to the file-import export menu click import from file click next I get three options as to where to save the file Favorites then a tree with plus tabs before favorites and below that a plus tab mozilla. I clicked on the favorites one time the next time I clicked on the favorites with the plus sign. clicked next and in a millisecond I get a finish but no bookmarks
