I've read Brink's excellent tutorial on how to change this area's settings. I changed the length of time a message appears. I'd like to test what I've done. How do I create a benign notification or action center message to test how long it remains on the screen? Thanks.

Remove notification area icons?
Hi, I clicked on the bottom right of my taskber, where is says "show hidden icons". I then clicked on customize and found 2 program icons that I had previously uninstalled. One was; Registrybooster and the other Revouninstaller. I opened Regedit and found nothing conserning these 2 programs....
