How to Add or Remove "Details" Tab in File Properties in Windows

This will show you how to add or remove the Details tab when users right click or press and hold on a file and click/tap on Properties in Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
You must be logged in as an administrator to be able to do the steps in this tutorial.
EXAMPLE: "Details" Tab in Properties Page of a File
Here's How: 1. To Add "Details" Tab to Properties
NOTE: This is the default setting.A) Click/tap on the download button below to download the file below.Add_Details_Tab_to_File_Properties.reg
B) Go to step 3.
2. To Remove "Details" Tab from Properties A) Click/tap on the download button below to download the file below.Remove_Details_Tab_from_File_Properties.reg
3. Save the .reg file to the Desktop.
4. Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to Merge it.
5. Click/tap on Run, Continue (UAC-Vista) or Yes (UAC-Windows 7/8), Yes, and then OK when prompted.
6. When done, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
