This will show you how to allow or prevent the mouse pointers from being changed to the mouse pointers included in a new theme instead in Windows 7.



Here's How:
1. Open the Control Panel (All Items view) and click on the Mouse icon.

2. Close the Control Panel window.

3. Click on the Pointers tab. (See screenshot below)

4. To Allow Themes to Change Mouse Pointers
NOTE: Any mouse pointers you have in your current theme will be changed whenever you change the theme.
A) Check the Allow themes to change mouse pointers box. (See screenshot above)

B) Go to step 6.
5. To Prevent Themes from Changing Mouse Pointers
NOTE: Any mouse pointers you have in your current theme will not be changed whenever you change the theme.
A) Uncheck the Allow themes to change mouse pointers box. (See screenshot below step 3)
6. Click on OK. (See screenshot below step 3)
