Great catch on the usb flash drive method. We were just discussing which was the fastest way to see the 7077 installed on one thread bringing in the flash drive option.
I'll have to give this one a try once the drive is free from the ubuntu installation currently seen there. The 16gb drive will easily cover that plus leave room for storing the other files stored there on a separate partition.
Blast! Now I'll have to shrink down the single large Fat32 volume in order to replace the large ntfs volume used for storage!
and the usual success story seen later...
That then revealed the two ntfs partitions were replaced by the single Fat volume with the new name for the drive as well changing that from Recovery to the 7077 build name used for this.
A closer look at that after the usb label was renamed to the build's name there.
What really turned out to be off interest however was seeing the installer start right up when tried since the usb drive evidently isolates that from the compatibility issues!
