Good explanation that is very well presented. Good work Gary. Something that we all can use.

I'm not sure what you are asking Mike. I don't think images are allowed in templates. To show large images in a post in a thread instead of thumbnails you would use the image icon Post Template: Create at Seven Forums-img-icon.png and enter the URL of an image hosted somewhere on the net.

You can upload a picture to your profile photo album, then include that link in your template.

Like this: (use the IMG code)

Gary I have several things I usually copy / paste from a Word doc and I am just wondering if I can just put those into the templates using that method.

Plus are we limited to the number of templates we can store. In any case this is going to save me a lot of time opening and shutting stuff:)

Yes I use them all the time,
Images get a little odder I've found large images/ screen shots are better as hyperlinks to the original on skydrive,
But smaller ones I simply copy and paste the originals from skydrive to the post templates to save some room in the reply,
My main issue with using prior attachments upload to the forum was the size of them are not compress as when you upload them so using the image from a prior attachment were allot larger than before,
A small quirk but I was trying to avoid taking up too much room in a reply,
    Cheers.

When you copy text from a .doc or a .docx document it shows as black text, which is fine unless one uses a dark them as I do. Black text on a black background is hard to see.
I think it would work best if you typed them in. As far as I know there isn't a limit, I have 15 or so saved. John will have to answer that. :)
