Thank you Brink. Maybe I didn't explain it well enough. Basically my C drive is all 3 of my SSD's in Raid 0. So wouldn't that mean that my OS is basically striped on all 3 ssd's? Again I apologize, When I started this venture on Saturday, I thought it would be a Ron Popel.... Set it and forget it.. lol

In order to have GPT on an OS disk, you would need to have a motherboard with UEFI firmware that supports booting from GPT. If you have a motherboard with legacy BIOS, it won't support booting from a GPT OS disk.

I'm not sure that you could convert RAID 0 without having to start over from scratch on it.

Thank for your patience. If this needs moved to a different thread or if I need to repost, let me know. Here are some shots of what I have. The end result I would like is maximum storage and performance. If possible I would like all on a single drive. I primarily use this for storing and watching full length 1080p movies and tv series. Looking at the boot options, it shows boot to EUFI. Again my only knowledge on this is google and wikipedia. What would be your suggestion as to how I should proceed because this has turned into something that is above my pay grade, so to speak. I can usually "google" my way out of things, but there is such a vat of different knowledge, I'm at a loss as to which way to go. Again thank you for your time. In reading your responses in this thread, you seem to have a way of explaining things in a "technical layman" manner.

You screenshots indicate that you have BIOS instead of UEFI.

2 more shots. I expanded both the boot options. Am I understanding that it will boot either way? And that if the drives were in EUFI format, they would show up as an option in said drive. Sorry for being a pain in the a** or asking stupid questions. . I'm to educate myself in the process. (understanding you cant fix stupid)

If none of this is possible, how would you suggest setting what I have to get as close to the end result I was looking for.

Ah, good you have UEFI then.

You could start over by setting up your RAID 0 at boot, then clean install Windows 7 with UEFI on the RAID 0 setup.

Thanks Shawn. You have been awesome in helping me diagnose and solve the dilemmas I had. I will post my results on the other thread once I fully complete the change-over. Shane

Hmm Shawn mate I have just completed the third clean install this afternoon and notice in Partition Wizard it is a MBR disk and I am sure it was a GPT disk before so have I changed anything in the BIOS by mistake because I had to set boot orders and check Secure Boot etc and is a GPT disk going to benefit me.

Am asking because PW will not let me do it with the free version now whereas I the past I have??

    Hey John, :)

I wouldn't recommend to try and convert your OS disk.

This tutorial is more for a data drive that is larger than 2TB to be able to use all if it's space in one GPT partition.
